Šiemet The Deep Splash buvo pakviesti į Dar - Druskininkų meno rezidenciją, kurią organizuoja Lietuvos kompozitorių sąjunga. Dvi savaites rezidavome Druskininkuose, o rugpjūčio 15 d. kviečiame į renginį Kompozitorių namuose Žvėryne, Vilniuje.

The Deep Splash žinomas kaip internetinis archyvas www.thedeepsplash.com, kaupiantis ir pristatantis menininkų video darbus, pokalbius su kūrėjais, apimantis migracijos, egzilio ir nacionalinio identiteto temas per meno praktikas. Praėjusiais metais Nacionalinėje Martyno Mažvydo bibliotekoje The Deep Splash pristatė parodą "Dausuva".

Renginyje The Deep Splash vyks performansai, garso ir video meno pristatymai – klausymo ir mąstymo praktikos per garsą, objektus ir judančius vaizdus.

THE DEEP SPLASH
A night of performance, sound and video art

Normally The Deep Splash is an online video platform www.thedeepsplash.com archiving videos of artists, embracing the ideas of migration, exile and national identity.

This year we were invited to Dar – Druskininkai Art Residency by Lithuanian Composers’ Union to have a residency for 2 weeks with The Deep Splash invited guests. As an upshot of this time, the event will be organized in Vilnius Composers’ House in Žvėrynas. The modernist building will host an event of performance, sound and video art, for practices of immersive listening and synthetic thinking through sound, objects and moving images.
